ESPAÑOLA ISLAND
Española (Hood) is the oldest (3.3 million years) remoted and most distant island of the Archipelago. It is located to the south and represents an essential visit on its journey through the Galapagos Islands due to the large number of endemic species it has.
Punto Suarez
It is located in the west part of the island. Get the Humboldt current which makes it very rich in plankton and food for animals. For this reason, it has large colonies of seabirds: frigate birds, cormorants, pikemen of various types, seagulls and marine iguanas that settle comfortably on the black volcanic rocks of the coast.
The biggest attraction in this tourist spot is El Soplador (a blowhole) a natural spectacle of water that rises up to 20 to 25 feet, depending on the waves, which is great to capture the wonderful environment.
Gardner Bay
The sea lions are the most outstanding characters and the maximum attraction in this uninhabited beach.
