MAIN VISITING SITES

MALECON 2000

Malecón 2000 is the given name to the largest river walk in America. This overlooking walk of 2.5 km of length aside the Guayas River will take you around statues full of Ecuadorian history.

SANTA ANA HILL

Covered in rainbow-colored homes, has 444 steps to climb up to the top in which an excellent view of the Malecón 2000, the center of Guayaquil will await for you. Enjoy this traditional visiting site surounded by the neighborhood of Las Peñas.

IGUANA’S PARK

Also known as Parque Seminario, sits just in front of the Catedral Municipal. Famous for its reptile residents the iguanas. Come and enjoy a memorial to Simón Bolivar, the famous South American who helped win the independence of Gran Colombia from Spain.

HISTORICAL PARK

The historical park recreates the different ecosystems and traditional architecture in over three hectares (7.4 acres) of the city of Guayaquil. Species from monkeys to iguanas and endemic flora will amaze your surroundings.
